Initial Fault:This Dalian spindle amplifier arrived at our facility with reports of a catastrophic failure, resulting in a complete and immediate shutdown of the customer's CNC machine. A visual inspection confirmed the severity: the unit was completely burnt up, with extensive charring and soot covering the internal components and visible damage to multiple circuit boards and power devices.

Our Solution:Due to the extensive burn damage, our technicians performed a careful and methodical disassembly to assess the full scope of the failure. This was a cascade event that required a near-complete rebuild of the unit.

The repair process began by replacing the main input circuit breakers and contactors, which were destroyed in the initial fault. We then meticulously repaired multiple circuit boards, including the main control board and the gate driver board. This involved removing all charred material, repairing burnt and lifted PCB traces, and replacing dozens of damaged surface-mount components, control ICs, and optoisolators.

The entire power section required rebuilding. We replaced the main IGBT power module, the bridge rectifier, and all DC bus capacitors. We also replaced the internal cooling fans, which had sustained heat damage during the failure.

Following this extensive component-level rebuild, the DL-SDZ-2F-30K was reassembled and put through a multi-stage testing process. We started with low-voltage checks to ensure no remaining short circuits, then gradually applied full power. The fully rebuilt spindle amplifier was then securely packaged and returned to the customer with our comprehensive 2-year repair warranty, saving them from the high cost and long lead time of sourcing a complete replacement unit.
